Delete My Account – Rent In Madurai
We respect your privacy and give you control over your data. This page explains how to delete your account, what is deleted, what we may retain, and how long deletion takes.

- Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, favorites, saved searches, messages, and active listings (ads) from public view.
- We may retain minimal records where required by law, security, and audits (see “What we retain”).
- You can cancel a deletion request within 24 hours by contacting support.
How to delete your account
Option A — Request deletion (recommended)
- Send an email to sktrealtors@gmail.com from the same email address used on your account with the subject “Delete my account”.
- Include: your name, phone number (optional), and the line “I confirm I am the account owner and want my Rent In Madurai account deleted.”
- We’ll verify and confirm by email. Deletion is typically completed within 7 days.
Option B — Request via form (if you add a form here)
Fill out the form below. Use the registered email and tick the confirmation box.
If you sign in with Google (OAuth), deleting your Rent In Madurai account does not delete your Google account. You can also revoke our access in your Google settings at any time.
What will be deleted
- Your account profile (name, email/phone stored in your profile).
- Your listings/ads and associated photos/videos (removed from public view; media scheduled for purge).
- Your favorites, saved searches, and messages.
- Any other personal data stored solely for operating your account.
Timing: public content is removed immediately after approval; full backend purge and cache/backup cycles complete within 30–60 days.
What we may retain (and why)
We may retain a minimal subset of data where we have a legal or legitimate business basis, including:
- Fraud/security logs (e.g., IPs, device identifiers) for abuse prevention.
- Transaction/financial records (if you used any paid features) for tax/audit compliance.
- Server backups that are automatically overwritten on a rolling basis (up to 60 days).
- Legal holds if we are required to preserve information due to a dispute or law-enforcement request.
We never sell your personal data.
Content involving other users
Messages you sent to other users and public activity tied to their accounts may become anonymized or unattributed after your deletion. Other users may still have copies of messages you sent to them.
Reinstatement
Account deletion is permanent. You can create a new account later, but previous data will not be restored.
Cancel a deletion
If you change your mind, email sktrealtors@gmail.com within 24 hours of your request with subject “Cancel account deletion”. After processing begins, cancellation may not be possible.
Eligibility and verification
- You must be the account owner (or a verified legal representative).
- We may request reasonable verification to protect accounts from unauthorized deletion.

Terms specific to deletion
By submitting a deletion request, you acknowledge:
- You understand deletion is permanent and affects listings, media, messages, and access.
- We may retain limited data as described above for legal, security, and audit purposes.
- We may be unable to remove content indexed by search engines or stored by third parties beyond our control.
- Deletion of your Rent In Madurai account doesn’t delete your Google account; manage Google permissions in your Google Account settings.
